IMAGER can be installed on a Mac OS unit through MacPorts.
The most recent version of IMAGER (Nov 2025) is available for installation through MacPorts. Older versions are deprecated and should be avoided.
How to install
Enter the following commands in a terminal window. To do so, you need to have MacPorts already installed, see next section below if needed.
$ sudo port selfupdate# To make sure you have an up-to-date version$ sudo port install imager# Install IMAGER
