Ongoing developments

1. The PIPELINE tool will be improved to handle Large Mosaics, and allow Mosaic self-calibration
2. An automatic way to “slice” imaging and deconvolution of data cubes according to channels sharing the same dirty beam is under consideration.
3. Support for multiple arrays and Total power is considered for the SIMULATOR

Delivered in Oct-2023:

1. SIMULATE command allows single-array, multi-configuration simulation of observations from a source model
2. SELFCAL now works for Mosaics
3. PIPELINE EXPLORE recommends imaging parameters. Self-calibration feasibility is checked a priori, and turned off if no sufficient Signal-to-Noise.
4. POLARIZATION tools are under development (Position Angle, % polarization determination and display) but basically working.
