CLARK
CLEAN [FirstPlane [LastPlane]] [/PLOT Clean|Residu] [/FLUX [Fmin
Fmax]] [/QUERY]
with METHOD = CLARK
A Major-Minor cycles CLEAN method, originally developed by B.Clark, in which
clean components are selected using a limited beam patch, and deconvolved
through Fourier transform at each major cycle. In mosaic mode (See command
MOSAIC), a mosaic clean is performed. Rings and/or stripes may appear on ex-
tended sources. Faster than the HOGBOM method for single fields but maybe
slower for mosaics. The strategy to search for CLEAN components in CLARK
method does not work properly when the secondary side lobes are too large
(e.g. larger than 0.3), or in case of high phase noise.
